Afeng Wang of Our School was Awarded "Inspirational Star" of Wuhan University Graduate Students

On April 22, the results of The Second "Inspirational Star" Selection for Wuhan University Graduate Students were announced. After online voting and on-site defense, Afeng Wang, a 2018-grade graduate student of our school, stood out from 46 candidates and became one of the 10 postgraduates who finally won the honorary title of "Inspirational Star" of Wuhan University Graduate Students.

Afeng Wang was born in a humble family, but she kept improving herself. In her research, she is diligent and hardworking. She takes every study and research task seriously and responsibly, and has achieved fruitful results. She has published five English papers, one of which was published in the journalComputers & Education,SSCI/SCI double indexed I. In her life, she has been able to emulate those excellent qualities of models and enlighten them, and serve her classmates. When she was a student cadre of the Graduate Student Union, she was responsible for the organization of employment services and practice activities, and planned and held more than 10 employment practice activities, which brought practical help to the graduate students in their job search and employment. With excellent research results and excellent work performance, Afeng Wang was awarded many awards and honorary titles, such as National Scholarship for Graduate Students, Boone Scholarship of School of Information Management of Wuhan University, Excellent Graduate Student of Wuhan University, Advanced Individual in Graduate Internship Practice and Social Activity, Active Individual in Social Activities of Wuhan University.

Afeng Wang was Awarded "Inspirational Star" of Wuhan University Graduate Students, which set up an advanced model of inspirational talent for the graduate students of our school, and delivered the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement to the majority of graduate students of our school. It is the dynamic embodiment of the basic task of moral education and the concept of strengthening financial aid and education.
