In order to deeply practice the core values of socialism and further carry forward the volunteer service spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress", the Postgraduates' Union of our school organized volunteers to hold the activity ofWarm in Campus, Guard BelongingsatZhuyuan Playground (formerly Ground Track Field of the Information Campus) from April 1 to 7.

Bathing in the warm spring wind, the volunteers came to the playground, arranged a belongings-watching venue in front of lockers on the sidelines, and waited for the teachers and students who came to exercise. As soon as the volunteers finished arranging the venue, they welcomed the first batch of students who came to deposit belongings. They were members of the women's football team of Wuhan University. After learning that our school was going to carry out a week-long compulsory belongings-watching activity here, they excitedly said: "Great! Recently, there are so many people in the playground, and the lockers are full early. You came in time! "

8: 30 in the evening is the peak time for students to take part in exercise in the playground. In addition, recently, many campus bands performed in the evening, and volunteers have also ushered in the peak time of belongings storage. Under the orderly organization of the volunteers, the students carefully filled out the registration form for depositing and taking belongings, and safely handed over their belongings to the volunteers for care.

After seven days of volunteer service, the volunteer team of our school won the trust of teachers and students who store belongings with solid working style and responsible attitude. Moreover, some students picked up lost items in the playground, they chose to send them to the belongings-watching service point as soon as possible. Volunteers actively contacted the staff of Postgraduates' Union of our school and Wuhan University, published lost and found notices on several platforms, and assisted students in finding the owner. After seeing the lost and found notice, one owner went straight to the service point, and when he got the wireless earbuds back, he repeatedly praised the volunteers: "Thank you very much for your persistence, I had thought I couldn’t find it!"

During the period of closed control and normalized epidemic prevention and control on campus, the number of teachers and students who exercise at Zhuyuan Playground has increased. This volunteer service ofWarm in Campus, Guard Belongingsfocuses on the actual needs of teachers and students, and effectively alleviates the pressure of keeping belongings on campus in special period.
