On the afternoon of May 14, the final selection of the 11th Wuhan University Good Communist Youth League Branch Secretaries Around Me was held at the No. 212 Lecture Hall of our school. Qiaoyi Zhang, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Branch of Class 1, 2020-grade Information Management and Information System, SIM, was awarded the Wuhan University Top Ten Communist Youth League Branch Secretaries.

In the preliminary paper test, Qiaoyi Zhang advanced to the semi-finals with high scores by virtue of solid knowledge and theoretical foundation of Communist Youth League affairs. The semi-finals mainly examined the planning and organizing ability of themed Communist Youth League Day. Qiaoyi Zhang planned and carried out the themed Communist Youth League Day of "Gathering the Strength of Youth and Promoting the Spirit of the Winter Olympics" across branches, interacted with the Winter Olympics volunteers of the People's Public Security University of China in a virtual way by passing on sharing documents online, and successfully advanced to the final, becoming one of the fifteen candidates.

In the final session of presentation and defense, Qiaoyi Zhang told about her work experience of Communist Youth League Branch, and showed the achievements. In the case analysis session, she gave a comprehensive answer from the aspects of system construction, job description, ideological motivation, etc. on "how to solve the problem of uncooperative branch committee members". In the League class presentation session, Qiaoyi Zhang took the title General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Message to Youth, lead young League members to learn and understand the General Secretary’s inculcation of Chinese youth in the new era. In the end, Qiaoyi Zhang was awarded the Wuhan University Top Ten Communist Youth League Branch Secretaries with the third overall score.

Qiaoyi Zhang has successively served as the secretary of the Communist Youth League Branch of Class 8, 2020-grade Social Science Experimental Class, secretary of the Communist Youth League Branch of Class 1, 2020-grade Information Management and Information System, and served as the deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of the SIM (students). During her tenure, she led the Branch to be awarded the Advanced Communist Youth League Branch of the SIM, Wuhan University, and was awarded the Wuhan University Top Ten (Excellent) Themed Youth League Day Activities for many times. She personally won the honorary titles of Wuhan University Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadres, Wuhan University Outstanding Trainees of Freshman Communist Youth League Branch Secretaries Training, etc.
