From July 17 to 24, the finals of the 12th China National College Student "Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship" Challenge, and the finals of Cross-border E-commerce Contest were held.
Four teams from Wuhan University entered the finals, winning three special prizes and one second prize, setting a double new record in the number and level of awards of Wuhan University. Liyi Zhang, Xueqing Tan, Weiwei Yan, Min Zhang, and Xiaohui Xu won the Best Instructor Award, and Wuhan University won the Excellent Organization Award.
TheEyeCrazy5 Teamwon the second place in the special prize of the traditional track and the Best Innovation Award. The team was instructed byLiyi Zhang, Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, andXueqing Tan, Associate Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University.Changjun Jiang, an undergraduate of the School of Information Management, was the team leader, andJingyi Chen,Yifan Hu,Juan Tang, andShumei Zhangwere the team members. The award-winning project Yu Ci focused on the pain points and difficulties in e-commerce live broadcast chaos and platform management. The team designed a data analysis system for e-commerce live broadcast industry based on data value empowerment. This system could help MCN companies scientifically and systematically standardize and optimize the performance of the anchor team, and form enterprise ecology with sufficient development potential and strong anti-risk ability. At the same time, it would break the inefficient way of manual sampling, realize the quick traceability of violations, provide management agencies and government departments with big data screening technical tools for live broadcast supervision and tools for macro-grasping the industry situation, and promote the live broadcast supervision to move towards the direction of intelligence, high efficiency and panorama. This project has a good prospect of industrial development, and has obtained many patents and served many MCN companies in Hubei.
TheYaji Teamwon the special prize of the traditional track, Best Innovation Award and Best Creativity Award. The team was instructed byWeiwei Yan, Associate Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, andMin Zhang, Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University.Yueyan Shen, an undergraduate of the School of Information Management, was the team leader, andZixuan Li,Siqi Zhao,Xu Cai, andXinyu Mawere the team members. The team’s project My Style focused on the public's increasing demand for high-quality national traditional culture, diverse creative needs, pain points and difficulties that the social expansion needs of specific communities are obviously insufficient with the actual supply, and made every effort to create a new mode of "co-creation+dynamic reading" metaverse with national traditional culture. The metaverse was expected to effectively solve the market pain points of high barriers to the creation of national traditional works and insufficient effective supply of high-quality derivatives by using young power to support traditional culture, so as to make up for the market gap of the immersive display of national traditional culture and build an open and diverse digital national traditional ecosystem. The topic selection and conception of this project were unique, which was favored by the judges and investors.
TheWHU Pioneer CC Teamwon the special prize of the real track. The team was instructed byXiaohui Xu, Professor at the Economics and Management School, Wuhan University, andTongqian Xu, Associate Professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Wuhan University.Yutong Xie, an undergraduate of the Economics and Management School, was the team leader, andJie Xiao,Keyan Zhu,Danni Cui, andNan Chenwere the team members. The team’s project KidTopia focused on the toy market with a global market of up to 100 billion dollars, and was committed to building a website platform that serves a new generation of parents and children all over the world. KidTopia has attracted customers with gentle and sweet website design and diversified channels, and has influenced the next generation children by toys with imaginative creativity, so that children dare to imagine, create and not be defined, and have diverse possibilities in the future.
TheFive Seahorses Teamwon the second prize of the traditional track. The team was instructed byJiang Wu, Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, andZhongyi Hu, Associate Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University,Qinwei Li, an undergraduate of the School of Information Management, was the team leader, andYuzhuo Liu,Tianxiu Chen,Jincheng WeiandWeihang Wangwere the team members. The team’s project Drama of Hubei Villages was committed to building an immersive rural tourism platform, and to realize the four-dimensional integration of intangible cultural heritage, rural tourism, drama scripts and immersive experience mode. The project combined cultural elements with rural scenes, and using information technologies such as indoor positioning, AR, intelligent speech synthesis, etc., through games, performances and other forms, tourists could feel the unique culture of Hubei in an immersive way. The project has reached cooperation agreements with many tourist attractions including Mulan Mountain.
The 12th China National College Student "Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship" Challenge has attracted 133,729 teams from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, cities and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and nearly one million college students, university tutors and enterprise tutors have actively signed up for the contest. The scale of the contest has reached a new high in the history.
