223 New Students of 2023-grade Undergraduates Registered

On August 25, 223 freshmen of Grade 2023 undergraduates of our School registered at Meiyuan Small Playground and officially entered Wuhan University. With youthful colors, their would usher in the future with their own life pictures.

At 6 o'clock in the morning, the east is getting red. Volunteers carried hundreds of pre-packaged gifts to Meiyuan Small Playground, and helped teachers to decorate the reception venue waiting for the arrival of new students.

At 7 o'clock in the morning, new students arrived at Meiyuan Small Playground one after another. With the guidance of volunteers, they went to the reception venue of our School to complete a series of registration procedures, such as scan and check personal information, get student card and gift packs. After completing the registration, the new students, together with their relatives and friends, took the first photo at Wuhan University in front of the slogan of our School. Finally, volunteers guided the new students to take the school bus to the dormitory. Volunteers also helped them to carry luggage and get familiar with the new environment in front of the dormitory building.

At about 9 o'clock, Taiyan Huang, CPC Secretary of Wuhan University, Xingrong Fu, CPC Secretary of our School, Wei Lu, Dean of our School, Qian Dai, CPC Deputy Secretary of our School, and Lihong Zhou, Associate Dean of our School, came to the reception venue to greet the new students, parents and volunteers, and took a group photo.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, Qian Dai and the teachers of the Undergraduate Student Affairs Office visited the freshmen's dormitory, had face-to-face communication with them. Teachers learned about the accommodation, patiently explained the use of hot water, seeking for help, information channels and other living issues, at the same time, they had fraud prevention education. All teachers encouraged new students to participate in campus life.
