SIM and Fanruan Software Company Promote Deep Cooperation in Industry-Academia-Research

On November 28th, a delegation from Fanruan Software Co., Ltd. (referred to as Fanruan), including Vice President and CMO Huajie Yuan and General Manager of the Central China Region Fei Jiang, visited our school for a survey. Participating in the survey meeting from our school were as the followings:

Min Zhang, Professor and Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business,

Yiwei Gong, Professor and Branch Secretary,

Ziming Zeng, Professor and Deputy Director,

Weiwei Yan, Professor at the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business.

The meeting was hosted by Yiwei Gong.

Xingrong Fu welcomed the visiting delegation led by Huajie Yuan and introduced the school's basic information and key measures and achievements in recent years regarding disciplinary development and talent cultivation. Qian Dai outlined the historical evolution of the school, its educational philosophy, and main initiatives and outcomes in local authorities and corporate cooperation. Min Zhang reviewed the collaboration between the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business and Fanruan software, expressing gratitude for Fanruan’s support in professional internships and providing practical training positions for faculty and students. He also shared the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business’s accomplishments in faculty development, major construction, and the cultivation of intelligent business talents.

Huajie Yuan introduced Fanruan’s development history, mission, and vision. Wenqiang Jia, Manager of University-enterprise Cooperation Department of Fanruan, detailed Fanruan’s ecosystem for university-enterprise cooperation, training platforms and resources, professional talent certification and competition systems, and case studies of university collaborations.

During the open discussion session, participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on specific areas such as curriculum development, internship and training base construction, competition organization and joint guidance, training cooperation, and enterprise mentorship. Both sides expressed their willingness to enhance communication and jointly promote deeper integration of industry and education to cultivate more outstanding digital talents for society.
