On March 8th, the internship base established in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province by FanRuan Software Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "FanRuan") and our school was officially unveiled. Meanwhile, three senior executives from FanRuan were appointed as industry mentors for our school. Attendees included:

Aihua Xue, Founder and Chairman of FanRuan;

Huajie Yuan, Vice President of FanRuan;

Fei Jiang, General Manager of Central China Company of FanRuan;

Junfeng Ma, Hubei Regional General Manager of FanRuan;

Qian Dai, Deputy CPC Secretary of our school;

Min Zhang, Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business;

Weiwei Yan, Deputy Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Intelligent Business;

Xiaoliu Bai, Director of the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office;

Xiaoyu Chen, Secretary of the Youth League Committee;

Nan Wang, Class Mentor for the 2023 E-commerce Program.

The event marked a collaborative effort to strengthen industry-academia ties and enhance practical education opportunities for students.

In his speech, Aihua Xue articulated the company’s core philosophies: “delivering higher-quality products and services to users” and “achieving sustainable growth to become a world-class enterprise with enduring legacy.” He emphasized that “high-caliber, interdisciplinary talent serves as the driving force for corporate development” and expressed enthusiastic anticipation for more outstanding students from Wuhan University to join FanRuan in “co-creating a brighter future”.

Qian Dai extended gratitude to FanRuan on behalf of the school. She underscored that the internship base “provides a robust platform for comprehensive collaboration between academia and industry.” The school, she noted, will “continuously refine its curricula to align with industry needs, ensuring talent cultivation meets market demands” and bridge the gap between students and enterprises “from ‘a thousand miles apart’ to ‘one kilometer’ or even ‘zero distance.’”

During the ceremony, Qian Dai presented FanRuan with the plaque titled “Wuhan University-FanRuan Software Co., Ltd. Internship Base” and issued letters of appointment to three industry mentors:

Fei Jiang, General Manager of Central China Company of FanRuan;

Junfeng Ma, Hubei Regional General Manager of FanRuan.

The event reinforced commitments to fostering talent development and deepening partnerships between educational and industrial sectors.

During the ceremony, faculty and staff, and students from our school visited Langxin Technology Group Co., Ltd., Wuxi New District Exhibition Center, “New” Youth Career Hostel, and FanRuan Software Co., Ltd., where they conducted professional awareness-building activities to deepen industry insights.

Our school and FanRuan will leverage the unveiling of the internship and training base as a catalyst to further strengthen collaboration. Together, we aim to cultivate innovative, interdisciplinary, and high-caliber digital talents urgently needed by society, elevate university-industry collaboration to new heights, and realize a shared vision of mutual benefit and success.
