On April 2, Institute of Medical Information, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and our school held a signing ceremony for the Joint Laboratory of Medical Information Science in Beijing.
Wei Lu, Dean of SIM, Wuhan University, and Hui Liu,CPC Secretary ofInstitute of Medical Information, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Hui Chi, Director of Institute of Medical Information, Qing Qian, Deputy Director of Institute of Medical Information, Xiaoli Tang, Deputy Director of Institute of Medical Information, Quan Lu, Director of the Department of Information Management Science of SIM, Wuhan University, and other teachers and researchers attended the ceremony.
Wei Lu introduced the relevant information of our school, hoping that both sides can realize the effective combination of theoretical methods and the field of health industry, and jointly promote the rapid development of medical information science.
Hui Chi believed that the two sides had a strong alliance and complementary advantages, with deep cooperation potential.
Hui Liu hoped that the two sides would jointly build "four platforms" for joint scientific research, personnel training, industry exchanges and joint progress, so as to promote the research and personnel training of Medical Information Science in China and serve the construction of the core base of China's medical science and technology innovation system.
After the signing of the agreement, the two sides exchanged and discussed on joint research and tackling key problems, backbone talents learning and further education, postgraduate training, academic forum and other work in 2021.
The Institute of Medical Information, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is a state-level medical information research, medical information resources guarantee and service institution, which undertakes the tasks of medical information research, medical science and technology information research and health policy research, performs the functions of national medical library, and is the Medical Sub-center of National Science and Technology Library and Literature Center, and WHO Health and Biomedical Information Cooperation Center, it is a top support unit providing decision support and information services for the reform and development of national medical and health undertakings and the innovation and development of medical science and technology.
