2025-09-18 10:00:22

Jiang Wu, Professor at our school, delivered an academic report titled Research on Simulation of Social Resources Competition Based on Large Language Model Agents at the ETH AI Center for teachers, researchers and students on May 27th.

In his report, Jiang Wu shared the latest research progress and academic insights into social resources competition and countermeasures to alleviate involution, covering aspects such as research background, current research status, simulation of AI large-model agents, and computational simulation experiments. He pointed out that homogeneity and embeddedness are key factors influencing involution, while technological and strategic heterogeneity represents an important pathway to mitigate it. Combining domestic and international social contexts, he also conducted a detailed analysis of social resource competition and the current state of involution in relation to industrial policies, talent policies, and other factors in social competition and cooperation. After the presentation, he engaged in interactive discussions with the onsite faculty and students and promoted the profiles of our school and Wuhan University.
