In the early morning of September 2, facing the cool breeze of the East Lake, the teachers and students of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University had already made full preparations for the reception in the Meiyuan Playground, looking forward to the arrival of the new undergraduate freshmen. 199 new students came from all over the world to gather at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University.

At 7 a.m., the freshmen came to the reception tent of the School of Information Management, they completed the registration with the guidance and help of the working staff, and received their own campus card and freshman gift bag. All work was in order and the check-in procedure was carried out smoothly.

In order to commemorate the freshmen's first visit to Wuhan University, a special photo area in front of the tent has been set up to record their good time and constant original heart at the moment. After completing the check-in procedure, many freshmen took their own "first photo of freshman" here with a welcome sign board.

In addition to the volunteers, leaders of the SIM also came to the freshmen registration point. Xingrong Fu, CPC Secretary of the SIM, Wuhan University,Qian Dai, CPC Deputy Secretaryof the SIM, Wuhan University,Lihong Zhou,Associate Dean of the SIM,Wuhan University,expressed care and congratulations to the students. Their words warmed the students.

At 11 a.m., the arrival of Jin Han, CPC Secretary of Wuhan University, and Xiankang Dou, President of Wuhan University, made the scene more warm. They stepped into the Meiyuan Playground and expressed warm care to the freshmen who had just joined Wuhan University family. Jin Han and Xiankang Dou came to the welcome point of the SIM to have a cordial exchange with 2021 Uighur freshmen of the SIM, introduce about Wuhan and Wuhan University, and extend a warm welcome to them.

The reception work lasted until 6 p.m. and all students of the SIM arrived at Wuhan University safely to complete the check-in procedure. In the evening, Qian Dai visited the freshmen's dormitory with the SIM counselors, and students who are mainly responsible for the student organization to care about the students' life on the first day of university.

Teachers' kind care made the dormitory atmosphere more warm, and the fellow students have also solved the questions about water and maintenance report for freshmen.
