Recently, the report on escorting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, written by Lu An, Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, Chief Expert of Major Research Projects in Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education of China, was published in the 16th Issue, 2021 of Investigation Special Reports managed by the General Office of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, and submitted to the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the Provincial People’s Government. Professor Lu An’s report received affirmative instructions from the leadership of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the Provincial People’s Government, and has been forwarded to relevant organizations for research and implementation.
The report is based on serving the major strategic needs of the country, focusing on preventing and resolving the risks in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, and providing targeted research and consulting services for the main problems and solutions in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. This is a second important achievement after our school’s achievement was affirmative instructed by main leaders of Hainan Province in February 2021, which fully reflects that our school's information resource management research team adheres to and practices the "Four Orientations" of scientific research work, and serves the areas with great needs for regional and national development to achieve practical results.
