In October, with the fragrance of sweet-scented osmanthus, the Second Exhibition of Postgraduate Academic Research Achievements of the SIM opened as scheduled. This exhibition covers 36 high-level scientific research achievements published (obtained) by current graduate students of our school during 2020-2021, with various forms and rich contents, including scientific research papers, national invention patents and award-winning works in academic research competitions, etc., covering library development and management, information analysis, information users and information service, informetrics, digital publishing and knowledge service, e-commerce and digital economy, archives and digitization of cultural heritage, data management and data governance, and etc.
In order to enhance teachers' and students' understanding of scientific research achievements and strengthen the communication between authors and readers, on the afternoon of October 21, all authors of this exhibition were invited to stand by their exhibition boards and communicate with the present teachers and students. Readers came to an endless stream to discuss with the authors on issues related to the exhibition achievements. The authors shared their scientific research experience to each other, and the atmosphere of on-site communication was warm and active.
"This activity is so meaningful! It not only stimulates our interest in scientific research in related disciplines, but also improves poster editing skills, which are of great importance for graduate students to attend academic conferences. "
"The greatest gain from attending this exhibition is to broaden our horizons and get inspiration, which is good for our own scientific research."
"Viewing so many outstanding scientific research results inspires us to keep up with the seniors, and strive to create more high-level scientific research results, and win honor for our school!"
