Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Young League made a summary report on the 2021 National College Student Volunteers' Summer Culture, Science and Technology and Public Health Going to Rural Areas Social Practice Activity, and Jiang Wu, Professor at our school, was awarded as an Outstanding Individual in the Summer Culture, Science and Technology and Public Health Going to Rural Areas Social Practice Activity of National College Student Volunteers.

This summer vacation, Professor Jiang Wu, as instructor of the social practice team, led the team going to 27 villages and towns in 13 provinces across the country to carry out in-depth research and project promotion around the theme of integration of rural agriculture, business, culture and tourism. Under his guidance, the team members went deep into the grass-roots level to understand the rural cultural tourism construction, summed up the rural development experience, put forward the revitalization plan according to local conditions, docked government resources, promoted the cooperation among governments, companies, universities and research institutes, and provided useful reference for the implementation path of the national rural revitalization strategy. The relevant practical deeds were reported by Guangming Daily, Zhongqing Campus and other media. The practice team won the special prize of the 13th Wuhan University Practice Style Competition. In addition, Professor Jiang Wu also instructed the team members to transform the practical research results and participate in the7th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition,and won the national silver medal inthe Track of Journey of the Youth’s Red Dream Realization.
