In order to do a good job in the final exams of this semester, further standardize the process management and improve the undergraduate teaching quality, on December 22, the School held the Work Arrangement of the Final Exams and Report Meeting on the Undergraduate Teaching Supervision in Meeting room No. 205.

Lihong Zhou arranged the final exams work. He pointed out that the final exams is an important part of undergraduate teaching. Teachers in all departments and classes should pay more attention to the final exams. From the proposition of test papers, invigilation to marking papers, they should strictly implement the work standard of general undergraduate course examination of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, and strictly examine the discipline to ensure that the final exam is standardized, orderly, and smooth.
Ximing Xiao, team leader of the SIM undergraduate teaching supervision, made a work report. He introduced the basic information of this round of undergraduate teaching evaluation, explained the new changes in the index system and evaluation methods, put forward suggestions on the problems and shortcomings in the undergraduate teaching evaluation, and gave guidance on how to write the undergraduate teaching evaluation report. Ximing Xiao, on behalf of the supervision team, also reported the situation of lectures and examination papers in this semester, and explained the existing problems in detail. He stressed that we should attach great importance to the teaching attitude, study atmosphere, and examination discipline, strictly control the proposition, do a good job in marking and scoring, and pay attention to the standardization of the teaching process. He suggested teachers to actively reform and optimize the teaching content and teaching methods, strengthen the interaction with students, encourage industry experts to enter the classroom, and improve the proportion of curriculum practice.
Xingrong FuandWei Lupointed out in their speeches that the first classroom is the main front for personnel training. Wuhan University attaches great importance to undergraduate teaching and has held several special meetings for improvement. In the next step, the School will introduce relevant measures and methods, make up for shortcomings, strengths the weaknesses, improve the capability, and further improve the undergraduate teaching quality of the School, especially in the aspects of classroom quality, students' innovation and entrepreneurship guidance, teachers' award declaration and academic competition. Efforts should be made to make overall planning and policy incentives to stimulate the participation enthusiasm and input of teachers in the whole School.Xingrong FuandWei Luhoped that the departments directors could timely convey and organize the implementation of the assignment of this meeting, and build roads and pavements for the high-quality development of undergraduate teaching in our School with actions.
