On the afternoon of December 23, 2021,ProfessorMu-Hsuan Huang,Editor-in-Chief of theJournal of Informetrics (JOI),a top international journal in the field of Informetrics, was invited by our school to share experiences and put forward valuable suggestions from the perspective of editor-in-chief with the topic of submission and evaluation of JOI papers. Affected by the COVID-19, this activity took the form of virtual meeting. The atmosphere of the meeting was lively, and the discussion in the Q & A session was enthusiastic, which achieved good results.
This lecture was not only the second lecture of the series of activities of "Luojia SIM+", but also the opening lecture of the editor-in-chief forum of international journals. The editor-in-chief forum of international journals tries to build a platform for scientific research exchanges and cooperation between Chinese scholars in the field of Library and Information Science and editors-in-chief of international academic journals, so as to further promote the internationalization of talent cultivation and scientific research in the field of Library and Information Science, and promote the participation, influence and discourse power of Chinese scholars in international academic communities.
ProfessorMu-Hsuan Huang, currently Academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Chair Professor at Taiwan University, and the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Taiwan University.ProfessorMu-Hsuan Huang has been the Editor-in-Chief of JOI since 2017, and has also been the Editor-in-Chief of TU Humanitas Taiwanica, the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Library and Information Studies, and member of editorial board of Scientometrics.ProfessorMu-Hsuan Huang published more than 200 research papers, with a wide range of research expertise and interests, including science and technology policy, intellectual property rights, patent information, informetrics, information retrieval, user behavior, knowledge management, digital library and so on.
