“The president is coming! Let's see who makes dumpling better!” On the evening of January 11, with warm applause and cheers, Xiankang Dou, President of Wuhan University, Feicheng Ma, Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan, Qing Fang, Dean of the Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences, and other leaders of Wuhan University came to the 2022 SIM Faculty and Staff Spring Festival Party. The teachers were all excited, applauded and took photos with their cameras and mobile phones.

January 11 was the last working day of the Wuhan University faculty and staff of the semester. On the evening, the 2022 SIM Faculty and Staff Spring Festival Party, organized by the SIM Trade Union kicked off in Maple Garden Canteen. Xingrong Fu, CPC Secretary of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University,Wei Lu, Dean of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University,and other members of the leadership team, and more than 80 members of the SIM gathered together to celebrate the Spring Festival. At the event, colorful balloons and ribbons hung high, and red banners showed a strong festive atmosphere.

Xiankang Dou stood among the teachers, while skillfully making dumpling, he kindly asked the teachers about their work and life. In his impromptu speech, Xiankang Dou fully affirmed the achievements of the school in 2021, expressed his best wishes for the school and teachers in the New Year, and encouraged the teachers and students to continue to strive for new achievements in the new year.

Wei Lu, on behalf of the faculty and staff of the school, extended a warm welcome to the president. He said that all the progress of the school can't be achieved without Wuhan University's long-term strong support and ardent concern for the work of the school, and the unity and forge ahead of the faculty and staff of the whole school. He wished the school and Wuhan University continuous progress and the faculty and staff of the whole school happiness and well-being.

Hot dumpling was coming to the table. Teachers sat around, talked about their work experience, talked about a better life and looked forward to a bright future, and mutual friendship and care were also passing on to each other.

During the meal break, SIM Trade Union also prepared games and lucky draw. The game session has three programs, which were step on the balloon, grab the water bottle, and Hula Hoop Lianliankan. Teachers actively participated and showed their talents. Laughter, applause, and cheers at the event were one after another, and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. In the lucky draw session, Wei Lu, Xingrong Fu, Qing Fang and Feicheng Ma took the stage to draw prizes in turn. With the awards announced one by one, the atmosphere at the scene reached a climax again.

The 2022 SIM Faculty and Staff Spring Festival Party came to an end in the ringtoss game. Everyone showed their skills and gained prizes. A variety of small souvenirs constantly inspired the teachers' enthusiasm, and the activity ended successfully in the sound of exclamations, sighs and laughter.

This Spring Festival Party promoted Chinese traditional culture, but also expressed the concern of the school for all the faculty and staff, and showed the spirit of unity and progress of the faculty and staff in the whole school. "We should persist in holding it and do it better." Xingrong Fu said, "SIM Faculty and Staff Party is a traditional collective activity of the school, which has played an important role in uniting faculty and staff and creating an enterprising, harmonious and friendly school culture."
