On March 29, the Research Center for Evaluation of Academic Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences of Renmin University of China published the 2021 ranking list of the Reprint Index of Newspapers and Journals, and three journals in Chinese of our school achieved great success again.

In the Ranking of Journals in Library, Information, and Archives Management,Documentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese) has 15 reprints, with the third reprinting amount, the third reprinting rate and the second comprehensive index. In recent years, in the reprint ranking, all indexes ofDocumentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese) rank 2nd-4th in the discipline.Journal of Information Resources Management(in Chinese) has 13 reprints, ranking 5th in the discipline, 4th in the full-text reprinting rate, 5th in the discipline in the comprehensive index, with reprints increasing by 85% compared with last year. The rankings of all disciplines have been greatly improved compared with previous years. In the Ranking of Journals in Journalism and Communication,Publishing Journal(in Chinese) has 8 reprints, with the 10th reprint amount, 7th reprint rate and 8th comprehensive index.

These three journals in Chinese of our school are all the source journals of the Directory of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), and the important source journals of the Reprint of Newspapers and Journals by Renmin University of China. In recent years, their performances in various evaluation systems have remained stable, and some indicators have improved obviously.Documentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese) has always been a journal funded by the National Social Science Fund of China. It is the authoritative journal of AMI Comprehensive Evaluation (Journal A) of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals, the national core Chinese journal, and has been selected into the Recommended List of High Quality Journals by the Federation of Management Societies of China (FMS). It has extensive academic influence at home and abroad. In recent years, in the Annual Report of Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals published by CNKI, the ranking of impact factors ranks second to third in the discipline.

Publishing Journal(in Chinese) is a national Chinese core journal, a core journal of AMI Comprehensive Evaluation (Journal A) of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals, a journal included in DOAJ, and was selected as Hubei Province Excellent Journal. It was funded by Hubei Journal Development Support Fund in 2021.

Journal of Information Resources Management(in Chinese) is the core journal of AMI Comprehensive Evaluation (Journal A) of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals. From 2019 to 2021, it was awarded the first place in users’ attention evaluation of Library, Information, and Archives Management journals of National Philosophy and Social Sciences Literature Center for three consecutive years (2018 -2020). According to the data of the Annual Report of Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals published by CNKI, in 2021, the composite impact factor of this journal reached 2.549, and the discipline ranking was upgraded to 16th place (16/47).

In addition,Data and Information Management, an English journal founded by our school, developed well in 2021, and was included in Scopus, an internationally renowned database, and was selected as the journal of the Information Behavior Research Committee of the Society of Science and Technology Information of China.

Focusing on serving the country's strategic decision-making, discipline development and social needs, on the basis of earnestly implementing the responsibility of ideological work and publishing on time with good quality and quantity, the Journal Center has strengthened high-quality thematic planning, actively expanded its own functions, constructed and optimized the "embedded" academic research participation mode, and organized a series of activities such as "Luojia SIM+","Annual Reading List of Library, Information and Archives Management" and "Methods in Summer: Series of Lectures on Library, Information and Archives Management Research Methods", which provide diversified academic communication services for authors and readers, and has great significance in academic communities and prominent brand effect.
