On April 2, 2022, the First Joint Study of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and the Leadership of Hubei Provincial Committee of Various Democratic Parties and the Theoretical Study Center Group Study of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee was held in Wuhan. Erkenjan Turahun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, and Hongling Wang, Yuejin Guo, Yuhua Yang, Baiqing Zhang, Shunquan Qin, Liping Jiang, chairmen and chairwomen of Hubei Provincial Committee of various democratic Parties, attended the study. Focusing on the theme ofMetaverse—The Scientific and Technological Achievement of Human’s Digital Civilization, Jiang Wu sorted out the logical framework of Metaverse from six aspects, such as human narrative, basic composition, user behavior, digital industry, digital intelligence empowerment and digital governance, concretely analyzed the technical characteristics and development direction of Metaverse, expounded the current relationship between Metaverse and social economic development, and put forward digital governance measures of Metaverse from the perspective of government.

Jiang Wu has been in the research field of Digital Platform and Technology Empowerment for a long time, serving the country's major strategic needs, and has successively presided over national-level projects such as the national key R&D program project and the key research project of philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, actively promoting the practical transformation of academic achievements. Jiang Wu’s team has built a virtual-real integration service cloud platform for rural agriculture, business, culture and tourism and a three-dimensional virtual-real interconnection platform for red resources, and by empowering from Metaverse, his team has built demonstration application sites of rural cultural tourism and red Party building in many beautiful countryside and characteristic towns in Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Fujian, Gansu and other provinces and cities.
