14 contestants took turns to show in the drawing order. The judges commented on the performance of the contestants and put forward opinions and suggestions on the common problems. They pointed out that the professionalism of topic selection should not be too strong; The content of the explanation should not be separated from the textbook, but it should be independent; In the process of explanation, there must be some interaction and conclusion; PPT should be made with illustrations and concise text; When explaining, teachers should pay attention to the accuracy of concepts, the content and time allocation of this lesson and the last lesson; For the unfamiliar information in the course, it is suggested to explain it with simple examples. Strengthen writing on the blackboard so that teachers can express their views to students more clearly; When giving lectures, don't be confined to the "square space" in front of the podium. Teacher can walk around appropriately. In addition, the judges also made suggestions on the speed of explanation, the control of time, the use of multiple teaching aids, and the mastery of scoring and deduction skills.
Yang Zhao, the first prize winner of Wuhan University Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, and Judge of2022 SIMYoung Teachers' Teaching Competition, believed that teaching ideas and methods were constantly evolving and innovating. The teaching competition was an all-round display of the usual classroom teaching. First, teachers must ensure the integrity of the teaching content, including five key points: knowledge point review, lesson introduction, main content explanation, lesson summary and after-class expansion. Secondly, pay attention to the logic of instructional design. Teachers should be good at connecting a large number of scattered knowledge points in series with a main line, and systematically explain them step by step. Third, it reflects the advanced nature of teaching methods. In addition to using traditional PPT courseware, teachers can also make full use of digital and intelligent technology, and improve teaching efficiency by APP and other teaching application software for screen display, random grouping and barrage interaction. Finally, it is to realize the diversity of teaching activities, that is, taking students as the center, and improving students' learning enthusiasm and initiative through diverse activities such as brainstorming, situation simulation and classroom practice.
After the competition, a number of participating teachers said that the teaching competition was a rare opportunity for teaching and learning. Although the time was short, it benefited a lot. Teaching is not limited to competition. In the future, more efforts will be made to improve teaching skills, courses will be carefully polished, and continuously improve teaching quality.
