Recently, our school was awarded the Wuhan University Advanced Organization of Students Society Work in the academic year of 2021-2022, which was a historic breakthrough in SIM’s development.

The SIM strictly implements the requirements of Implementation Plan of Communist Youth League Reform in Colleges and Universities, and strengthens the management of societies.

In 2020, the Society Management Department of SIM Communist Youth League Committee was established.

The Society Management Department has full-time League cadres, who are expected to take the responsibility of positive development of student societies, all-round growth of students, and the affairs management and development guidance of student societies in the SIM.

The Society Management Department strengthens the system construction, and has formulated a series of management policy, such as SIM society management, annual examination, evaluation, financial policy.

In terms of practical services, the Society Management Department responds to the needs of student societies, promotes the brand building of societies, and actively participates in various campus activities.

In the academic year of 2021-2022, the SIM women's volleyball team won the championship in the Torch Cup Volleyball Competition, the SIM team won the championship in the Freshman Debate Competition, the SIM student choir won the provincial second prize in the classic singing competition, the SIM basketball team won the third place in the Tengfei Cup competition, and SIM was going to organize Wuhan University Campus Culture Supermarket in the Society Culture Week.

In the future work, The SIM Society Management Department will continue to work hard, and live up to expectations!
