In order to give full play to the role of agriculture and rural experts and improve the level of agriculture and rural work of the People's Congress, on May 23, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of Wuhan Municipal People's Congress held a consulting experts meeting. Jiang Wu, Professor at our school, was invited to attend the meeting and appointed as consultant in the field of agriculture and rural affairs of the 15th Standing Committee of Wuhan Municipal People's Congress. Dazhi Wu, Chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, issued a letter of appointment to Jiang Wu.
Experts discussed the legislative investigation of the Regulations on Increasing Investment in Wuhan Municipal Rural Revitalization, and the special investigation of rural talent revitalization building in Wuhan. Jiang Wu analyzed the necessity of legislation of regulations, and put forward some suggestions, such as vigorously developing rural digital operation, paying attention to urban-rural integration in Wuhan's non-central city area, and quantifying the assessment index of the regulations. Combining with the actual investigation results of his team, Jiang Wu elaborated the current situation and problems of rural talent revitalization in Wuhan, and put forward some suggestions, such as cultivating local talents, promoting the construction of rural digital public service system, and establishing a regular service policy for all kinds of talents’ contribution in rural revitalization.
Jiang Wu has been in the research field of technology empowers traditional industries and construction of digital platform for a long time, and actively promoted the practical transformation of academic achievements. In terms of rural digital governance and digital empowers rural revitalization, Jiang Wu’s team has carried out a large number of rural surveys, and many research reports and suggestions for government’s policy-making were adopted by the General Office of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Non-public Reference of People's Daily.
