Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education published theNotice on the List of 2021 National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors Construction Points, and theArchives major of our schoolwas selected as theNational First-class Undergraduate Majors Construction Point.

TheArchives major of our schoolaims at cultivating advanced compound archival talents, and attaches importance to cultivating students' sense of historical mission and social responsibility, strengthens students' innovative spirit and international vision, strengthens the combination of basic theories of Archives and information technology methods, solidly promotes interdisciplinary integration, and strives to meet the quality requirements and ability requirements under the background of digital intelligence empowerment and intelligent service.

The listing of theArchives majormeans that except for the major of Big Data Management and Application newly added in 2021, all the other five undergraduate majors in our school have been selected as theNational First-class Undergraduate Majors Construction Points,which also indicates that the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in our school has achieved remarkable results. In the next step, our school will continue to focus on the major strategic needs of the country, stick to the main position of fostering virtue through education, continue to strengthen majors’ construction, promote majors’ connotation development, grasp the high quality of talent training, and comprehensively optimize the first-class talent training system.
