In recent days, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China announced the winner list of the fourth Chinese Government Award for Publishing. Professor Fang Qing, the dean of SIM, received Outstanding Publisher (Editor) Award of Chinese Government Award for Publishing.

It was reported that as the highest award in China in the field of press and publishing, Chinese Government Award for Publishing has selected winners every three years since 2008 and until now, it was held for 4 times. 59 books, 20 journals and 19 audio and video products and electronic publications were awarded in the fourth Chinese Government Award for Publishing. In addition, 10 books were given the Award for Printing and Publishing, 10 books received the Award for Best Book Design, 50 organizations got the Award for Advanced Publisher and 70 people were awarded the Outstanding Publisher (Editor) Award.
