In the lecture, Professor Chen firstly introduced the application of AI in healthcare with his project SilverLink as an example. SilverLink is a software specially designed for the elderly. It uses physical sensors and body sensors to observe the behavior patterns of the elderly, and predicts the physical conditions of the elderly and prevent accidents with big data analysis.

Professor Chen also introduced how to apply AI to network security with his projects COPLINK. Based on the dataset from the Dark Web, he and his team identified who and where the hackers are, what information they leaked, and the weaknesses in the information security. In the end, Professor Chen said that future research is going to focus on the combination of data from the dark web and data from the open web.
