On October 12, the 4th International Conference on Culture-oriented Science & Technology, 2023 (CoST2023) co-sponsored by Xi’an Jiaotong University and Communication University of China was held in Xi’an. Jiang Wu, Professor at our School, was invited to attend and give a keynote speech in English.

Focusing on the theme of the integration of rural agriculture, business and cultural tourism, Jiang Wu pointed out in the keynote report of Digital Intelligence Empowerment in the Integration of Cultural Tourism that it is necessary to make good use of the empowering role of data, technology and intellectual elements, increase the interaction among parties such as agriculture, farmers and rural areas, develop and build an industrial Internet with rural characteristics, and promote rural economic development and farmers' income increase.

The International Conference on Culture-oriented Science & Technology (CoST) is an authoritative international academic annual meeting in the field of culture and science and technology initiated by the Expert Group of National Culture-oriented Science and Technology Innovation Engineering of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. Guided by the national cultural power and cultural digitalization strategy, the CoST has been held for four consecutive times since its establishment in 2020, focusing on hot topics such as basic theory and frontier technology of cultural-oriented science and technology, media integration and cultural communication theory, cultural intelligent technology, cultural immersion technology, integrated application technology and system of cultural scenes, and new technology and service of cultural digitalization.
